About the event

Join us this July 10th at 10 AM EST for an inspiring virtual event featuring Girl Rising Future Rising Fellows Ayomide Solanke and Collins Busuru, two passionate leaders advancing gender justice through art and conservation education.

Ayomide, a talented artist from Nigeria, created a graphic novel that highlights the alarming rise in violence against women and girls in regions most affected by the climate crisis. Through powerful storytelling, she brings urgent issues to the forefront and sparks meaningful conversations that drive change.

Collins Busuru, a dedicated wildlife biologist and CEO of CHD Conservation Kenya, leads ecosystem restoration and conservation education programs in Amboseli National Park. His visionary leadership and commitment to empowering youth drive efforts to protect wildlife and preserve the environment for future generations.

Together, Ayomide and Collins bring diverse perspectives—from creative expression to strategic program leadership—that deepen our understanding of gender equity and inspire collective action.
