Justice Begins here

This interactive session centers the leadership of girls and women whose lives, experiences, and aspirations demonstrate what true access to justice requires. Through conversation, storytelling, and group activities, we’ll explore how strengthening girls’ and women’s advocacy skills, and engaging boys and communities in norm-shifting activities, creates the conditions for more equitable legal systems. Leaders from RISE UP TOGETHER,  Girl Rising and She’s the First, and participants in their programs will share stories of challenging harmful practices, influencing peers, and navigating systems that often overlook them. The event invites attendees to consider how justice efforts must begin early, locally, and with girls and women at the center.
