To establish a Girl Rising chapter, you must be:

  • A girl (gender-nonconforming, genderfluid, transfeminine experiences included) between the ages of 13 and 22

  • A proud advocate for the rights of girls everywhere, including the 10 rights outlined in the Global Girls Bill of Rights

  • Willing to uphold our commitment to anti-oppression and anti-racism
