Girl Rising is proud to be an official charity partner of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.

By joining Team Girl Rising, you’ll transform 26.2 miles into meaningful momentum for girls’ education and leadership worldwide. As you run from Staten Island to Central Park, you’ll be standing alongside a global movement committed to ensuring every girl can access quality education, develop essential life skills, and define her own future.

 

Every mile you complete helps expand opportunities for girls to learn, lead, and shape the world around them.

 

As a Team Girl Rising runner, you’ll receive:

• Guaranteed entry to the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon

• Dedicated fundraising and marketing support from the Girl Rising team

• A comprehensive fundraising toolkit with templates, messaging, social media assets, and tips to help you reach (and exceed!) your goal

• Community connection with fellow runners

As a runner, you commit to:

• Signing a grant agreement and raising a minimum of $5,000 (we strongly encourage setting a $10,000 goal to deepen your impact)

• Sharing your journey with your community through email, social media, and conversations to rally support for girls

• Training and showing up ready to have the experience of a lifetime on race day!
