RISE
Resilient, Inclusive, Skilled, Educated
Our RISE education programme is delivered in schools and communities to foster life skills, personal agency, and gender-equitable attitudes in young people.
Lasting change happens when schools and the communities around them are engaged. RISE works with girls, boys, educators, and families to build skills, shift mindsets, and create more equitable environments for young people to learn and thrive.

Girls build confidence, voice, and 21st century skills to continue their education, shape their future and pursue their aspirations.
Girls
at the centre

Boys strengthen social-emotional and critical thinking skills while learning to challenge harmful norms and support gender equity in school and in communities.
Boys
as partners

Teachers gain skills, tools, and confidence to lead inclusive, engaging classrooms—carrying these practices into other lessons and reaching many more students over time.
Educators
as changemakers

Parents and caregivers become active supporters of their childrens’ education and aspirations, reinforcing equitable attitudes and opportunities at home.
Familes
as allies

RISE has strengthened my understanding of gender issues, and taught me new digital skills I now use in class. I've seen the girls grow so much - speaking up in class, taking part in discussion, believing in themselves.
