Resources

Girl-centred tools for community-based organisations seeking to improve outcomes for girls.

Breaking the barriers that stand in the way of girls' education, opportunities, and rights starts by investing locally - in the leaders and organisations who know their communities best and have innovations solutions. Through our Girls First Institute and RISE education program, we provide tools, learning opportunities and networks all geared towards increasing girls’ power and voice.

We provide all of the below materials for free to community-based girl organisations serving girls in marginalised communities because we know that access to affordable, high-quality resources is scarce.

We’re so pleased to start this journey with you! If you have questions about any of the resources, about the Girls First Institute, or about RISE, please email programs@girlrising.org.

Girl-centred Risk Register

This simple tool helps organizations identify and reduce the risks girls face in their communities. We recommend updating it annually with girls’ input and using it during emergencies to assess changing needs and plan responses.

The following resources can be used by a mentor with a group of girls or by girls independently. For more resources and opportunities for girls, please see our With Girls page.
